Company History

Brown & Geeson was established in 1963 by Ray Brown and Arthur Geeson. The company soon outgrew a selection of retail premises on the London/Essex borders in favour of a factory unit first in Plaistow then in Dagenham, Essex.

The business was soon recognised as one of the country’s most respected suppliers of original equipment to vehicle manufacturers as well as for its own wide range of B&G aftermarket accessories.

The factory in Dagenham was vacated in 1996 in favour of more modern facilities in Wickford, Essex and early 2004 saw warehousing and administration moved to the present site at Buckingham Square, also in Wickford.

From the 1980s, the company has joined forces with other highly respected companies including Burg - Design of Austria. B&G has also for more than 10 years represented Italian steering wheel and tuning equipment manufacturers, MOMO as UK and Ireland sole distributors.

Most recently, B&G acquired the rights to market the innovative Snap-off quick release system for automotive and marine steering wheels.

Quality has always been a passion within B&G achieving in the early 1990s its original BS5750 status and most recently gaining BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000 accreditation.

Today Brown & Geeson continues to design, develop and manufacture stylish products of the highest quality to ensure that customers’ expectations of quality, price, delivery and service are met and whenever possible, exceeded.

The company today remains a focused “family” business with Ray’s son, Sean, driving the business forward
